Chapter 22

Chapter 22's main theme to me seems like freedom. We are still fighting for freedom to this very day on multiple levels. Racial inequality is the extremely obvious, huge battle of today's world. Even here in America, we are fighting for freedoms such as not using certain platforms. As someone who doesn't use social media, I was pretty much forced to use social media for this course and its video presentations. So the freedom battles are big and small I guess. 

As someone who works in medicine, I have seen patients forced into using technology for video visits due to the pandemic. We experienced a massive amount of issues with essentially forcing patients to download an app to do video visits with their provider. Experiments of politics happened when communism took over countries like China and Cuba, while today we experiment politically by allowing communist or marxists to take over movements with political agendas. I support the Black Lives Matter movement and the meaning of the phrase "BLM", but when the organizer and woman in charge of the official group "Black Lives Matter" comes out and says she is a trained marxist, I would say that's experimenting with politics. Especially when BLM is a clear cut political agenda for communism, not what they say they stand for. Again I will emphasize, THE OFFICIAL GROUP "Black Lives Matter" is suspect for creating a communist political agenda and its being forced on America. I will provide links below and I challenge everyone to do their own research.

Here’s the statement : “The first half of the 2 nd millennium AD marked a period of rebirth in China that was just as significant as the Renaissance in Europe.” You may argue FOR or AGAINST. Ch. 16-18 Questions 1-9

1. The Great Dying was a global phenomenon which took place starting when Native Americans came in contact with Europeans, who brought European and African diseases to these Native Americans. For example, before the Spanish conquest Mexico had about 15 million citizens in the population, which was drastically narrowed down to about 1 million by 1650. In what is now modern day New York, the Dutch and British had wiped out all but one tenth of the Native Americans in that region (Strayer p. 557-560). The question of whether this could be a genocide is a hard one for me to answer. I would go with yes it was a form of genocide, because the Europeans had known about diseases from Africa and Asia before migrating to the Americas. Now was there vaccines or precautions even available back then? As crazy as it seems, I do think the genocide brought by the Europeans may have not been malicious with intent, but I do think they should have been smarter than to assume Native Americans would immune ...

This is not entirely due to the pandemic of COVID-19. Police brutality and injustices are being caught on camera more than ever and the people of this country have had enough.
