Chapter 23

The thing that stands out most to me in this chapter is the world's economy. This is super ironic considering the worlds economy is in a bad place right now. Small businesses are losing everything they have worked for in a matter of months. Without capitalism small businesses wouldn't even have a chance to exist, and now that our rights have been taken away and we have lost the freedom of choice, small businesses have lost all decision making and are being left to fend for themselves. Today's economy reflects that of an economy which is recovering from a massive war. Similar to the great depression, except we are dealing with a pandemic, not a war. Just how international trade dropped during the great depression, the same thing is happening today because of the genius in office who also cut the resources needed to battle this pandemic.

In my opinion, we need to do what we have to do to survive during this time. Living in a capitalist country vs a communist country is huge during this time. The poor citizens of Hong Kong are being brutally beaten for protesting, so one can only wonder how ends are meeting for families in Hong Kong. Here in America we at least have the freedom to try and pivot our lives to still make ends meet during this pandemic. An interesting phrase was used when describing the industrialization of the earth, the mills used to industrialize were called satanic. Very interesting choice of words when considering righteous vs evil in today's world. Could it be this was the beginning of a true satanic takeover? Our environment has been destroyed by fossil fuels. Nikola Tesla's goal in life was to provide free electricity for the world which could have seriously harmed the fossil fuel business. When you dig deep into families that run the old school energy sector, you may learn the Rockefellers and Rothschilds might not be the "humanitarians" they claim to be.
